The 2019 apprentice year has commenced with five advanced mechanical engineering students. Jacob, Josh, Luke, Nathan and Shaun are completing level 3 diplomas in three areas of the company including machining, product design and development and toolmaking.
These four year apprenticeships provide hands on experience in an established company with guidance supplied through the range of experienced engineers who work directly with each student.
JEB ran a successful apprenticeship program for over 35 years resulting in close to 200 qualified engineers. It was restarted in 2017 to support the next generation of JEB employees.
If you are interested in joining the apprentice program, take a look at our careers page. Applications for next years’ program will open in July 2020.
